About the Artist

Meagan is a self-taught artist from Owensboro, Kentucky currently residing in Southern Illinois.  She works primarily in water-based media, using watercolor or gouache to create her works.  In 2026, she began a stained glass apprenticeship under artist Stephanie Dillard. Meagan is a proud board member of Oak Street Art and helps organize their annual flagship art festival on the last Saturday in April in Murphysboro, IL. 

Meagan began her dedicated art practice in 2022 when she first started working in watercolor, but has painted and practiced other artforms since childhood. 

In her free time she enjoys reading, kayaking, hiking, traveling, and playing board games. Meagan currently lives with her partner Randall, her beloved dog and 3 beautiful kitties.
