In this third painting in my Fields Forever series, I created a loose field of poppies and added a ruby-throated hummingbird, which is one of my favorite summer birds of Southern IL. See if you can find the numerous hidden insects in the field.

Fields Forever
In this collection of watercolor paintings, I created landscape of flower fields, hiding insects throughout and featured hummingbirds in some. I softened the horizon lines to create the semblance of the flower field going on forever. This series is meant to celebrate our prairie habitats and how they sustain such numerous and vibrant lives. The painting will be matted by the artist for protection prior to shipping, but framing is not included.
