"Lavender Fields Forever" is a watercolor painting that I created in the spring of 2023. It is the first piece in my Fields Forever collection. I had so much fun creating depth in the softness of the background and hiding fun creatures in the foreground with the beautiful flowers.

This piece is part of my Fields Forever open print series. n this collection of watercolor paintings, I created landscape of flower fields, hiding insects throughout and featured hummingbirds in some. I softened the horizon lines to create the semblance of the flower field going on forever. This series is meant to celebrate our prairie habitats and how they sustain such numerous and vibrant lives.
